I. BACKGROUND

Clean Air Asia works towards achieving better air quality and livable cities by translating knowledge to policies and actions that reduce air pollution and greenhouse emissions from transport, energy, and other sectors. Clean Air Asia was established as the leading air quality management network for Asia, and operates since 2007 as an independent non-profit organization. Clean Air Asia has offices in Manila, Beijing and Delhi, networks in several Asian countries and is a United Nations-recognized partnership of more than 250 organizations in Asia and worldwide.
Clean Air Asia is looking for an on-call Graphic Artist to support its graphic design requirements such as reports, infographics, charts and tables, graphical statistical representations, posters, banners, stationery, and any campaign material/merchandise we may produce (such as shirts, hats, eco-bags, pens, etc.).

II. JOB PURPOSE

The Graphic Artist will be engaged on an as-needed basis to provide assistance to Clean Air Asia in producing a range of graphic design materials for dissemination across multiple platforms, and produce high-quality visual content for Clean Air Asia’s website, publications and social media.

III. SCOPE OF WORK

The Graphics Design requirement may include any of the following:

  • Reports

  • Infographics

  • Charts and tables

  • Graphical statistical representations

  • Posters/banners

  • Stationery

  • Campaign material/merchandise

IV. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND CRITERIA

  • Proven track record of design work.

  • Ability to translate complex technical and scientific information into information that can be readily understood by the public.

  • Proficiency in the use of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

  • Photographic proficiency is desirable.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

V. DURATION, REMUNERATION AND ARRANGEMENTS

Selected qualified candidates will be included in Clean Air Asia’s roster of Graphic Artists. Jobs/design projects will be contracted on an as-needed basis based on the agreed scope of work and cost. Kindly submit your portfolio of design, and list of indicative design rates.
