Archana Walia, India Director

Archana Walia leads the implementation of India Program and related projects of Clean Air Asia in India. Archana has over 25 years of extensive work experience, of which 15 years has been in progressive leadership roles of country director, deputy office director, senior advisor and team lead. Archana’s experience spreads over sectors ranging from climate change, clean energy, energy efficiency and urban development. Archana holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Delhi, New Delhi.

Prerna Sharma, India Program Manager

Prerna Sharma is the India Program Manager. Prerna provides management and leadership to the India program staff and executes planning, organization, and monitoring and evaluation of projects in Clean Air Asia India office. She has more than 13 years of experience in the development sector having worked with NGOs like Save the Children and the Indian Environment Society. She has a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences and has worked in program design, development, implementation, and management, as well as program and financial monitoring.

Prachi Goyal, Air Quality Specialist

Prachi Goyal plays a key role in the development, implementation, and review of air quality activities and projects of Clean Air Asia in India. Prachi is an air quality professional with vast experience in Urban Air Pollution and its Management. She has worked in several elite institutes like the India Meteorological Department (IMD), CSIR- National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) and Council on Energy, Environment & Water (CEEW). She has worked in different R&D, consultancy projects and NGT cases dealing with issues of national importance like Stubble Burning, Delineation of Airshed, Source Apportionment, and Dispersed Source Mapping etc. Her research areas spread over Hotspot Identification, Emission Inventorization, Air Quality Modelling, Impact Assessment, Management Plan Delineation, Socio-economic Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement. Prachi holds a doctoral degree in Environmental Science specializing in Air Pollution, where her work focused on developing an integrated land-use management model for micro-environments.

Sushil

Sushil Kumar, Program Associate

Sushil Kumar supports the implementation and monitoring of clean air action plan work of the Clean Air Asia India office, and the project implementation for advancing better air quality in Indian cities as required under various project deliverables. Sushil has a master’s degree in Urban Policy and Governance (Habitat Studies) from the Tata Institute of Social Science in Mumbai. He has also worked with the Center for Sciences and Humanities on economics and developments in Delhi, and with Welthungerhilfe on public advocacy in south Bihar.

Bipasha

Bipasha Mukherjee, Program Associate

Bipasha Mukherjee supports the planning, implementation, and monitoring of clean air action plan work of the Clean Air Asia India Office, and project implementation for advancing better air quality in Indian cities.  Bipasha is skilled in GIS Application, ArcGIS Products, Sustainable Development, Emergency Management and Environmental awareness. She is a strong community and social services professional with a master’s degree focused in Disaster Management and Climate Sustainability studies from Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi.

Abhishek Sharma, Finance and Operations

Abhishek Sharma has a Master's degree in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing), with 14 years of experience as a Finance Officer & Management Auditor. Abhishek oversees the finance, operations, and administrative services of Clean Air Asia India.
