Lu leads the implementation of China Program and related projects of Clean Air Asia in China. She holds BA in International Law, MA and PhD in Environmental Law from the Wuhan University, China and conducted her PhD research in the University of Leuven, Belgium. She is specialized in policy and regulation analysis of environmental issues, and has worked as project manager and coordinator with UNEP in Thailand and leading environmental consulting firms in China.

Wei leads the management and implementation of programs and projects of Clean Air Asia in China and supports the development of the China strategy, programs and projects. Wei holds a PhD degree in Environmental Science from Peking University and is a member of the East Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics (EAAERE).

Weihao Zhang is the China Air Quality Program Manager. Weihao is responsible for the management and implementation of air quality program in China and supports the implementation of air quality and climate change program of Clean Air Asia in other Asian countries. He holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.

Nan Zhong supports the implementation of programs and projects of Clean Air Asia in China. Nan Zhong has doctorate degree in Sustainable Development from Columbia University in 2015, and was an assistant professor at the School of Economics and Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics in Xiamen University from 2015 to 2022.

Si Wang supports the implementation of programs and projects of Clean Air Asia in China. She has a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Beijing.

Huihui is responsible for the management and implementation of the transport program in China and supports the implementation of the transport program of Clean Air Asia in other Asian countries. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies with a Master’s degree in International Relations focusing on Energy, Resources, and Environment. She also holds a B.A. in International Politics from Tianjin Foreign Studies University.

XIA Dongfei is responsible for the management and implementation of projects related to ports and vessels in China and supports the implementation of projects related to ports and vessels of Clean Air Asia in other Asian countries. XIA Dongfei has a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University and has over 5 years of consulting experience in energy and environment field of transportation and construction industries.

Yue implements China-based transport projects and regional projects covering China through the collection of information and data, conducting of research, preparation of project reports, meeting proceedings, presentations, workshops, conferences and events. Yue has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Renmin University of China and a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University.

Zheng Ran is Transport Researcher in China office. Zheng Ran supports the implementation of the transport program of Clean Air Asia in China. Zheng Ran holds a master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Nankai University and a bachelor's degree in Water Supply and Drainage Engineering from Tianjin Chengjian University.

Wen Shao supports the implementation of the transport program of Clean Air Asia in China. Wen has a master's degree in Traffic and Transportation Planning and Management from Beijing Jiaotong University. Prior to working with Clean Air Asia, Wen was the intelligent transportation solution engineer at the National Innovation Center of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles.

Mingming leads the development and implementation of the communications strategy of the China Office and reflects and shapes the Clean Air Asia brand for audiences in China. Mingming has a master’s degree in Economics from China Agricultural University.

Yuan Liang is the Senior Communications officer of Clean Air Asia China office, undertaking communications-related work for project implementation and campaigns, and media relations development and maintenance. Yuan worked with well-known China media companies for more than 6 years and is experienced in producing media outputs in various forms, such as articles, videos, and data visualization. Yuan graduated from Xiamen Institute of Technology with a degree in International Economics and Trade.

Qiuyi has a bachelor’s degree in International Politics from Sun Yat-sen University and a master’s degree in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego. She has interned at several international and domestic environmental NGOs, including the Wildlife Conservation Society, the Global Environmental Institute, and China Blue.

Wenqi Lu is Clean Air Asia’s NGO Coordinator. Wenqi supports the implementation of projects related to the work with local NGOs in China. Wenqi studied archaeology at Peking University from 2014 to 2020 and started working in the field of environmental protection in 2020. She enjoys working with NGO partners on solving environmental issues.

Danmei has years of experience working for multinational companies, including HSBC, GE Capital, Siemens and BEA, with specializations in human resources and finance, and has worked with a start-up company. She has a master’s degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Tsinghua University.

Xiao studied human resources management at university and has more than six years’ work experience in administration and finance management in the real estate industry.
