Iloilo City Government is a local government unit with a permanent address at Plaza Libertad Iloilo City.

It is based temporarily at Robinsons Place Ledesma St. Iloilo City, pending the completion of the new Iloilo City Building which currently 60 % completed.

The Iloilo City Government has more than 20 line departments, one of which is the City Environment
and Natural Resources Office (City ENRO). One of the active program of this department is the Clean Air Program, the objective of which is to reduce greenhouse gas emission, reduce air pollution. The program has been actively promoting the participation of various stakeholders in the following areas/ activities:
• Transport and Traffic Management
• Cleaner Fuels
• Energy Efficiency
• Emission Control from Mobile Sources
• Emission Control from Stationary Sources
• Awareness and participations

Supporting the program is the Clean Air Coalition, an organization created by way of an Executive Order. It is composed of various stakeholders who have actively campaign for awareness raising among jeepney drivers.
